Pride Cymru’s free Youth Conference returns on 15/10/16 at the Parc Inn Hotel, Cardiff.
The conference coincides with week of The Iris Prize Festival and International Coming Out Day (11th October). Working again with our partners Iris Prize Festival and Youth Cymru, the conference focuses on the theme of the health and wellbeing of LGBT+ young people in Wales. Offering an opportunity to focus on challenges facing young people and allowing young People an opportunity to have their voices heard and express their thoughts within a safe, inclusive, fun and informative environment.
The day will feature talks and workshops covering a range of area’s such as mental health, healthy relationships, knowing your rights, cyber safety, sexual health and family support plus several guest speakers talking about their own personal experiences. There will also be information stands from a range of organisations there on the day.
PLUS we are giving attendees the opportunity to not only view the Iris Prize Youth short film nominations for this year but to vote on the wining Youth Award film for 2016.
