September 2017 Schools Visits and Free Workshops

To mark Poppies: Weeping Window at The Senedd and the Centenary of the First World War, an exciting learning programme has been designed for Primary and Secondary schools in partnership with The National Assembly for Wales.

Poppies: Weeping Window will be on display at The Senedd from 8th August – 25th September. A cascade comprising several thousand handmade ceramic poppies, the sculpture was originally seen pouring from a high window to the ground below at the Tower of London as part of the installation Blood Swept Lands and Seas of Red and the tour offers a fantastic opportunity for schools to visit The Senedd and explore the enduring symbol of the poppy.
