Introduction to the role and powers of the Assembly for scrutinising and developing legislation. Evaluate the effectiveness of the Assembly with regards to scrutinising the work of the Welsh Government and developing laws. Debating session with an Assembly Member (or a Member of the Welsh Government).
An opportunity to recreate an Assembly Plenary meeting and discuss a controversial topic through giving their views and opinions.
Senedd: a tour of one of Wales’s most recognised buildings and an opportunity to ask questions to representatives. If you wish you may reserve tickets for the Plenary at 13.30pm.
IMPORTANT: If you wish to reserve a place for the special programme on Wednesday and Thursday afternoon, tours will start from the Senedd.

-identify the opposition in the National Assembly for Wales

-observe a Plenary and/or Committee meeting to identify the techniques used by Assembly Members in creating and challenging proposed Bills.
