Book your school’s free hands on learning programme to Siambr Hywel and the Senedd.
The Education and Youth Engagement team gives primary and secondary students hands on experience of how the Assembly works to make Wales a better place to live. Our aim is to involve children and young people in the work of the Assembly and encourage them to get involved in the democratic process.
The programmes explore the function and purpose of the National Assembly for Wales. It does this by investigating:
- The work of Assembly Members
- How laws are made
- How the Welsh Government is held to account
- How young people can influence the work that goes on
